Moments of Reflection
Have you ever felt the healing of spending 10 minutes in quiet reflection?
Of stepping away from the onslaught of life and listening to what your heart, your body, your mind really needs?
Not the usual “what shall we have for tea” kind of questions that go around your head everyday but listening to your souls needs?
Your inner wisdom is powerful and acknowledging its existence and more importantly listening to it, empowers your true purpose to really come alive.
Do you truly know what your soul is asking of you?
If you were living your life as the real YOU, what would you be doing? What would fill your heart with joy? Where would you be? What would you be doing? Do you actually need to be doing, coming, going, being whatever it is you are?
Or, could you be comfortable just being, simply existing in the moment, without expectation, without need, without all the thoughts of “I should”?
Spending even a few moments in quiet, undisrupted reflection is not only calming for the mind and good for the soul, it allows our physical body to take a breath from the exertion of continually having to perform.
Our bodies need rest, time to rejuvenate on a cellular level, our mind needs downtime, for processing all the information it has had thrown at it each day and our soul needs time to purge the negative energies we may have absorbed.
Passing Glimmers of Inspiration
Small moments of reflection also allow the passing glimmers of inspiration somewhere to settle.
Flashes of an idea that could change your life – in a fleeting moment they can be gone again – if we are continually moving from one thing to another we may never see, hear or feel those glimmers presented to us or calling us from deep within.
When will you give yourself 10 minutes for reflection? I’d love to know what glimmers settle in your thoughts? What your soul is asking of you?
Please do share with me at liz@lizchaney.co.uk, what has your soul reflected back to you and how is it sitting with you?
Seeing Your Own reflection
You may see the uncomfortable as well as the inspiring – being spiritual and acknowledging your truth is about embracing the dark alongside the light – but it’s about how you go forward with what you learn or remember and how you lead the way in your own life by truly seeing your own reflection.
I’d love to support you further with a deeper reflection on what’s going on for you. Book a personal card reading and trust that the reflection it brings for you can calm your heart, body and mind.
