What brings YOU Joy?
Singing, drawing, dancing, doing puzzles, being in nature, exercise, the theatre, it can be anything!!
When did you actually last do something that brings YOU Joy?
We often feel guilt taking time for ourselves, but you cannot pour from an empty cup. If you had no guilt and unlimited time, what would you do for YOURself that brings you JOY?
Part of feeling Joy, Freedom and Love, is having gratitude (and appreciation), for what we have but also knowing that we are allowed to do things we love too!
What can you think of – it can be anything – that lights you up, that stirs your passion, or that you simply enjoy. It could be anything from getting your hair done, to riding your bike, to reading a book, to flying a plane – anything goes!
What does your heart desire to do ?
Not sure? Then maybe, take a look at what you would like an ideal day to look like. What would you be like? What would you be doing? Where would you be? Who would be a part of it? By feeling into how you would desire your life to be like, you can start to piece together the First Steps to making it happen, and sometimes, even discover that perhaps, you may already have it.
Within that ideal day, include the things that bring you Joy or make your heart sing. What makes you happy? What makes you smile? What makes you feel free? What do you love?
Why not jot down a few ideas and if it feels aligned for you, write out what your ideal day would be.
How can you make Joy happen in your life?
Perhaps you could let go of something you do because you feel you “should” and make space for something that makes you feel good?
I’d love to hear about what brings You Joy or what may be a part of your ideal day.
