Why you feel so out of place in your life.
I have the life I thought I wanted, so why do I feel something is missing?
You’re not crazy, you’re awakening, remembering deep within your soul who you really are.
Some would have you think that you can just “fake it until you make it”, that it’s easy to just say a few affirmations, a few “ohm’s” and you’re good to go, but when it comes to owning your spiritual self and wholeheartedly embracing all that brings with it, there’s a little more to do.
It’s about energetic re-alignment of your energy – (ok, I’m using buzzwords but I’ll explain more about what they really mean as we go on) – and that takes time, honesty and no matter what the Instagram gurus may tell you, a lot of soul searching and emotional rollercoasters!
I admit, my own journey has been a bumpy ride and I don’t deny you may find that as well, but with the right support, you too can have the metaphorical cushion of incredible energy under your bum to soften the ride.
Where does it all begin then?
If you’re reading this, you’ve probably already begun to acknowledge that something is stirring within you, something feels different, you can’t explain it and you don’t know where to start trying to understand it but you know whatever “it” is, is there.
You’ve found yourself at a stage in your life where you have everything you thought you wanted but you feel so disconnected from it. Perhaps the hubby, the kids, the job/business and it’s all very “nice” but it’s not lighting you up. You don’t feel like you belong in it anymore? It’s just the drudgery of the everyday and you feel invisible. No one sees, hears or values you, but they notice when you’re not there to satisfy their needs, or things aren’t done
Beginning to sound familiar?
Then comes the feeling that you want more, “when I get this” or “if I could just have that” things will get better, or you’ll feel better and these thoughts keep going round and round in your head, like you’re searching for answers from things, places or people that are not connected in any way to you.
You’re searching for answers outside of yourself.
And that pull, that nagging feeling that there must be more to life than this? Yes I am a great Mum, Wife, Daughter, Sister, Friend, Colleague but when will I get recognised as ME? I know I am meant for more, I know I should appreciate what I have but there is “something” out there, I just know it?
That’s the call to something deeper.
Your soul has stirred and it’s remembering its purpose in this human experience.
Sounds a bit woo? Perhaps, but it’s that energetic re-alignment I mentioned earlier.
Your entire foundation, frequency, inner and external thoughts have shifted, and you can either trust your inner knowing and take that leap of faith or stay stuck out of alignment in discomfort and dis-ease.
What energetic re-alignment really means
I know, I said I’d explain energetic re-alignment so here goes…
Simply put, everything that exists is energy. You, the clothes you’re wearing, the device you’re reading this on, the earth.
That energy constantly flows and when it fights against itself, it feels like a collision, things get bumpy and you feel uncomfortable.
I’d bet that all your life, you’ve been “the good girl”, done as you “should”, kept the peace, lived by the “rules”, but did you always feel somehow out of place?
You may have been told you had an “overactive imagination”, you were “too loud”, “too quiet”, whatever you did was never good enough and despite being everything to everyone, when you needed comfort, support, guidance you were suddenly alone?
All the people you used to hang around with are exhausting to be around now? The things you used to like, feel like your worst nightmare now? You used to love crowds but enjoy your own company now? You even have this weird call to be out in nature, walking in the trees or being next to the ocean and it feels like home when you’re there?
You’re not crazy, you’re awakening
All this is an identity-shift. It’s your soul, screaming to be seen, heard and loved, just a little, instead of being suppressed, hidden away or denied.
Your everyday life, the place this perhaps uncomfortable conversation with yourself started, the place you feel like you have maybe come to resent, can feel peaceful, can feel joyous, free and exciting – with a little re-alignment.
Rediscovering (and remembering) who YOU really are. Maybe not the person you were before you got married / had kids / built a business or career but who your inner soul really is and what fills you with joy every day.
Releasing all that no longer serves you, including the people you surround yourself with, the places you go, the impulsive purchases, the things you hang onto out of guilt and Thriving and Shining as the true version of yourself.
Putting yourself first and feeling at peace with your decisions, the choices you make, how you spend your time and living your daily life with love and freedom, allowing your Soulful, Awakening you to shine its light of truth brightly and with pride.
Taking small steps to release, embrace, explore and discover the life you were meant for.
